"Am I not destroying my enemies when I make friends of them?

I would have to say this means wen you make friends and you get into it with them you dont have to hate them all the time. You can always forgive and forget. Life is to short to be holding grudges and tring to make enimies. basically what you are saying you are trings to make more friends then make more enimies. That is what i would say for the word destroying. Trying to get rid of. I would and could use this in my daily life by keeping my friends close and my enimies closer because sometimes your friends can hurt you woser then your friends. And thats just messed up.
